Reverie

Turning Sleep Into A Luxury Getaway

This project was a competition brief by Bulletproof in which I was assigned a randomly generated target audience. My consumer was someone aged 18-24, looking for an innovative way to travel that also loves technology. The result is an app combined with a product, designed to let the user select a holiday destination to experience in their sleep- a lucid dream type experience...with a bit more magic!

The Outcome

The Process

Reverie offers both a free and premium version. Whilst the free version provides plenty of content, the premium subscription allows the user to dream travel to more luxurious locations. The eye mask itself is also available for purchase through the app.

The user is also able to track their dream statistics including where they've been, how often and how long they've dreamt for. This provides the user with proof of their experiences and is a good way to track if certain locations provide a better experience.

Reverie offers the user a plethora of destinations to choose from. With categories like beach, woodland, mountainous and snowfall locations, the user will always have an option to meet their needs and desires.

After choosing their destination, the user connects the eye mask to the app before putting it on, going to sleep and letting the magic happen.

After doing general and statistic research into the subject and target audience, I used the following UX tools to help my approach to the brief.
